The Retired Police Association of the State of New York is the only statewide organization that represents retired Police Officers from the State of New York. We have been in existence for over 50 years having been first formed in 1950. The RPA is the voice of the retired Police Officers in New York State and brings to the attention of the legislature and other public officials, the needs and concerns of the retired Police Office. We have over 4700 members from over 150 separate police departments throughout New York State. Our members live throughout the United Sates and in three countries. Our MissionOur mission is to effectively represent and bring to the attention of the New York State Legislature and the public officials of New York State, the concerns and needs of our membership. We do this with your help and input into our lobbying efforts with the State Legislature and retirement system.
Organization ProfileThe Executive Board and all the members of the RPA are all retired Police Officers from the State of New York. The RPA is a member of the Police Conference, State of New York, the Association of New York State PBA's and the Alliance of Public Retiree Organizations of New York.
