The Retired Police Association of the State of New York is the only statewide organization that represents retired Police Officers from the State of New York. We have been in existence for over 65 years having been first formed in 1950. The RPA is the voice of the retired Police Officers in New York State and brings to the attention of the legislature and other public officials, the needs and concerns of the retired Police Office. We have over 4700 members from over 267 separate police departments throughout New York State. Our members live throughout the United Sates and in three countries. If you are a retired police officer from New York State and would like to join the RPA, you can download an application by going to this link and printing out the application. Fill out all the information on the application (3 pages) sign it in the three places noted and send the complete application with your check payable to the RPA for $35.00 to the RPA address on the application. Please make sure to include your Retirement Pension number and System on the application.
